Women in Hip-Hop
I’ve definitely not been putting as much attention to this blog as I would like. So here is to trying to change that. My main goal is to create dialogue around aspects of Hip-Hop that are interesting to me. I might possibly have topics of the day or week, and this is me trying it out.
My partner and I had a conversation this morning about women in Hip-Hop. He made a bold statement pointing out that he thinks this era of women in Hip-Hop have better rhyme skills than the earlier era.
Any thoughts? Keep in mind I’m not talking about Nicki Minaj and your response depends on who you’re listening to! Hearing your examples will definitely add to your responses!
